DeckVoice is made by Samic Ventures LLC (Wyoming, USA). Short version: pay once, own it, we don't collect your data, and refunds are painless.

License

Your purchase grants a lifetime personal license to DeckVoice Pro, activatable on up to 2 Macs you personally use. A 3rd activation is declined — deactivate a Mac to move the license.
Teams: one license per person — it's $19.
The license key is signed and verified offline, but activating a Mac also requires a one-time online check that binds the license to that machine. After that DeckVoice runs offline, re-checking with the license server in the background when you're online to keep the activation current.
Updates within v1.x are included for free via your download link.

DeckVoice has no account system and no telemetry. We don't see your dictations.
With no Groq key set, transcription runs on-device and audio never leaves your Mac.
As soon as you add a Groq key, the default "auto" transcription mode sends your audio to Groq under your own API key, governed by Groq's terms — unless you switch the engine to "local" in Settings, which keeps every recording on-device. The optional Assistant mode uses your own Claude, OpenAI or Gemini key, or a locally installed Claude Code CLI (no API key).
This website logs standard, anonymous page-view and click counts (no cookies, no personal profiles). Checkout is handled by Stripe; we receive your email to deliver the product.
